HI all
I m Srinivas Manian form Nagpur.
Joined this forum recently but missed introducing myself.
I am an finance post grad and work for a leading Insurance Company.
The only hobby that time permits is now being persued seriously. I have been keeping fishes since school days but have only been learning and maintaining this in true sence since a last couple of years.
This forum was unknown to me. I landed up accidently and registered just for kicks
I thank my stars for the same for it has truly been a amazing turn of things in this hobby line since.
Thanks |

Hi Everybody,
I am Mahadev, a human resource professional. Been having an aquarium for almost 12 years. Have had a variety of fishes. Now seriously into cichlids. I have a male and female blue texas. I think so, because the aquarist sold them to me as flower horn. Inspite of all my research the doubt lingers on. Nevertheless they are prolifc breeders. In my large tank there are about 200 or more young ones. Hoping to sell them off. Any ideas? They are just under two months old. Very active and growing well. Am based in Nagpur.

Hi all,
I am Barnava from Howrah,WestBengal. I am working as a network engineer under ministry of railways.
Long ago in my childhood I once started with a small fish bowl and overstocked it with many fishes without knowing anything about fish keeping. Naturally they all have died very soon and I quit.
Now I have again started this year only to rectify my childhood mistake. I now have 30 G goldfish tank and a small 10 G tank with small fishes. I am currently very much interested in fancy goldfish and like to have some really good goldfishes. |

Hai anil,
Welcome to IAH. How many tanks you have and what size? If you provide with the full details, the people here will take you to next levels of the hobby.
Regards

thank you snsns
I have 2 tanks one is 4 ft by 3 ft which contains all my fish except the flower horn. For my Flowerhorn its 2 ft by 1 ft (planning to upgrade once it reaches a good size). I am yet to find a good filter for my big tank (currently using under gravel filter but water turns murky after just 1 week) . |
