@  Suraj  :  Completely  Agree,  The  problem  was  that  most  of  the  rocks  were  placed  about  12  days  ago  and  i  had  to  place  it  over  the  Cuba  carpet  and  push  it  in  as  trying  the  fiddle  with  the  carpet  was  resuling  in  the  whole  carpet  coming  off,  Slowly  the  cuba  underneath  the  place  where  i  have  placed  the  rocks  will  melt,  after  that  i  will  push  the  rocks  into  the  substrate.

@  Vimal:  If  you  actually  look  at  the  first  picture  there  is  a  bit  of  a  slope  when  i  first  set  it  up,  but  then  i  could  not  keep  it  too  much  either  because  it  was  a  emmersed  setup  and  too  much  of  a  slope  would  have  caused  a  lot  of  water  stagnating  in  front.  Now  whats  happened  is  that  the  Cuba  at  the  back  has  not  become  very  lush  and  in  the  front  its  extremely  lush  and  thick,  so  whatever  slope  was  there  also  has  disappeared  and  now  the  whole  scape  looks  flat   Smile

 @  Punna  :  Thanks

@  Muddassar:   Chuckle   ,  thats  the  final  resting  place  for  that  CO2  diffuser  now,  no  more  changes

@  Tirtha:  Thanks  Buddy,  I  really  need  to  get  scissor  happy  on  the  carpet   Chuckle   Had  planned  to  trim  yesterday  but  had  to  do  water  changes  for  3  tanks,  need  to  have  patience  to  trim  a  cuba  carpet  ....  so  will  look  at  doing  that  today

Are  you  going  to  open  a  non  hobbyists  FLS  soon?   ROFL

Once  I  found  a  gold  fish  floating  on  water  surface  and  gasping  for  air  in  a  LFS  here.  I  told  the  shopkeeper  to  add  some  airation  to  the  tank  or  the  fish  will  die.  And  got  a  sharp  reply,

"  Sir....  yeh  marega  nahi.  Upside  down  Gold  fish  hai.  Imported"

sorry  about  my  last  post.   newbie  here  just  figuring  out  how  the  page  system  works.   i  like  your  tank.   mildly  sloped  gravel  does  tend  to  level  out  unless  it  is  held  in  place  by  rocks,  slate,  etc.   the  cuba  is  growing  very  well  i  think.   i  might  have  added  a  taller  plant  with  long  leaves  on  the  right  to  balance  it  out  a  bit  but  i  like  what  you  have  done  too.   very  pleasing  to  watch.
 great  work  seetharam

@  Unni  -  Those  guys  hang  in  a  lot  of  weird  angles

@  Dinesh  -  Thanks  Dinesh,  I  was  planning  on  adding  Blyxa  or  Hairgrass  in  between  and  around  the  rocks  ....  but  then  changed  my  mind  ....  i  dont  think  i  will  be  adding  any  more  plants  to  this

Amazing,  beautiful  .............  No  any  other  words  for  this  carpet.
But  if  u  create  some  slope  this  carpet  will  show  the  effect  of  Alpine  (Buggyal).

@  Scorpio:  To  creat  a  slope  now,  i  will  have  to  add  more  AS  II,  dont  want  to  risk  making  any  changes  to  this  established  tank.

@  Avadhoot:  I  had  green  dust  algae  issue  when  i  flooded  the  tank,  I  used  a  HOB  which  was  running  on  another  tank  so  the  cycle  time  was  reduced,  and  now  whenever  i  clean  my  filters  sprinkle  some  ADA  Bacter  100  inside  to  replenish  the  bacteria  that  gets  washed  out  during  cleaning,  working  well  so  far

It  had  been  a  long  time  plan  of  mine  to  keep  Crystal  Red  Shrimps,  but  never  had  a  proper  tank  available  to  keep  them,  thats  when  i  decided  to  dedicate  one  planted  tank  for  these  beautiful  inverts,  at  that  time  i  was  dreaming  of  having  a  planted  tank  with  only  Cuba  Carpet  and  i  thought  of  clubbing  both.  The  tank  came  out  as  per  my  plan  but  my  plans  of  adding  Crystal  Red  Shrimps  was  not  materializing  untill  a  few  days  go  and  today  after  making  some  more  additions  my  dream  has  finally  been  fulfilled  ......  now  i  just  dont  get  tired  of  looking  at  this  tank   Chuckle

I  present  to  you  the  inhabitants  of  the  Cuba  Tank   Very Happy

Nice  inhabitants,  Seetharam.  Any  idea  what  grade  they  are?  I  believe  there  are  various  grades  in  CRS.
