Thank  god  the  pictures  came  decent.  I  was  not  sure  what  I  am  clicking  as  your  camera  settings  were  new  to  me.  Failed  with  that  Shrimp  closeup  badly.

@Nash  Bro....  any  time  you  are  welcome.

@Bappa  Da....  hope  you  have  spiked  up  the  CO2  and  moved  the  diffuser  down  before  leaving.  Hope  to  click  the  tank  with  DSLR  next  month.   Cheering
I  will  send  you  the  Singapur  pickup  list  today.

i  haven't  read  the  entire  thread  so  not  sure  that  maybe  people  have  pointed  this.

i  guess  that  leveling  the  substrate  will  give  a  more  better  look

and  i  was  also  a  huge  fan  of  wild  looking  tanks.  specially  with  the  damn  vallisneria  around....  and  this  tank  looks  cool.  however  a  little(really  little)  trimming  can  make  it  look  better.

overall  i'll  call  it  a  good  looking  aquarium.

 Thannks  you  guys  liked  it,
Kshitij:  farming  algae  is  the  first  step  towards  planted  aquarium....do  not  worry  we  all  go  through  that  stage  (some,  like  me)  have  a  life  long  association  Chuckle

Tirtha:  Thanks  for  fixing  the  stuff  Thumb Up  ----now  I  hope  to  see  the  tank  much  better  than  what  I  left  it  back
Prem  and  Muda:  I  agree  with  you,  I  too  love  wild  looking  tank  and  not  the  neat  and  almost  artificial  aquascapes  we  see  these  days.  Will  try  and  keep  that  wild  look.  Trimming  time  hopefully  this  Sunday  and  will  try  and  flatten  the  substrate  a  bit.

 Just  a  few  updates....
 First  the  cube....
It  is  running  on  Electronic  CO2.  The  pressurized  system  is  not  working  out.  So  suggest  me  some  foreground  carpet  plants  that  may  grow  well  without  presurized  CO2...
 Few  pics...

 and  a  close  up....

 with  the  inhabitants...at  times  hiding...

 or  shinning...

and  now  the  4  feeter....  woke  up  to  an  amazing  sight...the  early  morning  sunrays  on  the  tank....

reminded  me  of  some  early  morning  misty  forest...

 with  trees  and  branches...

 and  grass  bed....

sadly  it  lasts  for  half  an  hour  only  Sad

...the  Blyxas  have  started  to  grow  now....
and  in  the  evening,  with  the  ¬†artificial  lights  on...

 and...

Did  one  minor  rescaping.  Will  use  Lilliopsis  in  the  foreground  instead  of  Gloss.  Mainly  because,  it  will  go  with  the  overall  wild  look  I  want  to  have....a  nice  trimmed  carpet  wont....

 Dosing...
GB  Step  I,  ECA  started,  Green  Gain,  Brighty  K....photo  period  8  hours,  CO2....4-5  bps

 That's  wild!  Awesome!

Do  you  have  a  full  tank  shot  with  the  sun  rays  striking  your  tank?  Would  love  to  see  that!

 Thanks  Prem,
Not  yet  but  will  set  an  alarm  tomorrow  morning  to  take  the  shot  Chuckle  ...although  the  sun  ray  doesn't  cover  more  than  20%  of  the  tank

 really  great  aquarium.
why  don't  you  use  hairgrass  for  the  wild  look?  lileopsis  will  take  ages  too  fill  but  hairgrass  will  be  much  quick  to  oblige.  cannot  look  more  wilder  than  hairgrass....all  you  need  to  do  do  is  just  don't  trim  it  .Also,  micro  tenellus  planted  between  hairgrass  will  look  even  much  better.

 The  sunlit  shots  are  wowsome!

the  tank's  turning  out  to  be  a  treat,  keep  the  good  work  going  Smile

The  *only*  "feedback"...trim  the  left  corner,  might  help  the  appearance  a  bit.

Dada....  so  finally  you  got  the  jungle.  Way  to  go.  BTW,  what  happened  to  the  red  plants?  They  are  looking  bit  light  in  color.

And  don't  throw  the  Glosso  now.  I  will  be  needing  some  once  I  return  back.

 Thanks  guys.
I  personally  love  the  sun  light  shots  too.....its  a  pity  that  the  tank  can't  get  more  of  sunlight.
Nirav:  Any  day  buddy....will  teach  you  art  of  algae  farming  Smile
Muda:  Micro  tenellius  is  a  good  idea...although  my  luck  with  hairgrass  has  never  been  great.  The  lilliopsis  I  feel  are  not  too  well  planted....too  many  matty  bunches.
Hayath:  yes  was  waiting  for  it  to  grow  a  bit.  Tirtha  has  promised  to  help  me  prune   Thumb Up
Tirtha--yes,  always  wanted  the  jungle  look.  You  are  right  about  the  red  being  fade.  Started  ECA  (5  drops  every  day)....hope  that  helps?  Any  other  ideas?  Btw  the  gloss  is  in  the  cube

 Now  for  some  worries:
 1.  Mosses  are  gathering  'brown'  dust  like  stuff.  Is  that  some  algae?
 2.  Can  spot  brown  algae...but  that  i  usual  with  a  new  setup  or  is  it?
