Hi All,
Have uploaded the pictures of the completed bottom rack. Sorry for the delay as work has kept be very busy.
http://s289.photobucket.com/albums/ll202/surya_niki/Updated%20Pictures%20Of%20The%20Rack/
All the fish are south American dwarfs.
Plants used these setups are moss, ferns and anubias. The setup is a biotope, leaf litter setup. Used cashew nut and jack fruit leaves.
The temp is between 20 to 30 degrees as of now.
Your suggestion are welcome!
Regards,
Surya |

Thank you Ravindran! I dont leave the back uncovered intentially but due to lack of scape for me to reach out to. After setting the tank I was difficult for me to do anything.
Thank you Abhis!. Nice to know that you like the setups. Well the first 12 pictures are of my setup and the fish that live in it. The rest (from 13 ) are Seetharam's pictures. I had uploaded it to share the recent pictures I had clicked at his home. Not sure how they appeared in my album. You could get in touch with him for more details.
Regards,
Surya |

hi Surya,
Nice setup the appistos would enjoy it. One suggestion though try to put some christmas moss on the pot preferably at the entrance this would enhance the cave effect in a more natural way and you can see that they love darting in and out of it.Use any other moss that would droop downwards to create a similar effect if Xmas not available.

One other thing I missed out , try to put in leaves that are not absolutely flat a little uneven surface will give additional effect of the leaf litter effect and you will find the appistos hiding under them too.
regards Manoj.
All the best for your effort. |

Thank Manoj! The initial setup with leaves was an uneven setup. As I top water and due to WC the leaves have scattered flat. Will add some more to have space for them to hide. BTW, I have used weeping moss. Will have to wait and see how it grows as the temp is at 28degree and there is less light in the tank.
Thank you sud! |

Hi,
Finally I'm done with setting up the rack with the all the tanks.
http://s289.photobucket.com/albums/ll202/surya_niki/?newest=1
Attached above is the link to the setup's.
The final set up is a hillstream loaches tank. This is an 18" cube tank where the temp is 23 degree.
