You  can  add  Riccia,  Hair  grass,  E.Tenellus,  moss  as  foreground  plant  in  cube  tank.  These  plants  can  grow  easily  without  CO2.  u  can  also  make  a  illusion  of  dark  green  and  parrot  green  colour  using  Riccia  and  Moss  together  on  a  stone  slate  which  all  of  we  have  used  in  childhood  days.  E.  Tenellus  is  also  a  wonderful  foreground  plant  without  any  specific  requirement.  It  needs  only  light.

Thanks  Shameek,  harshal  and  raghu.  Need  an  advice  from  you  all----the  Rotala  Marcranda  is  growing  out  of  water  very  fast.  The  problem  is  it  is  getting  too  close  to  the  light  and  therefore  with  the  heat,  the  new  leaves  at  the  top  are  gretting  brown.  How  do  I  trim  them?

The  dreaded  algaes  are  coming  now---BBA,  greenspot,  hair,  fuzz,  staghorn...all  of  them.  Trying  to  remove  manually,  increased  CO2  (but  haven't  reduced  dosage  so  far),  and  changing  50%  water  twic  a  week.

Don't  know  what  is  causing  the  algae.  Here  are  some  latest  pics  (after  manually  emoving  some  of  the  algae). This  weekend  is  trimming  time  Smile

Will  try  and  provide  a  post  trimming  update  and  hopefully  an  algae  free  update  soon.
