 Hi  guys,

I  have  some  of  these  on  my  8ftx2ftx2ft  tank.  I  use  them  with  T5  lighting  aswell.  They  are  considered  expensive  in  the  UK  too,  but  they  do  work  they  are  low  electricity  consumption  for  good  light  output  and  long  life.  Est,  50,000  hours.  Remember  with  LEDs  you  cannot  compare  Watt  for  Watt  like  with  T5/T8  lights.

The  chinese  market  is  competitive  though  and  we  are  seeing  models  overhere  that  are  looking  very  good.  Look  at  Eco-lamps:  Eco-Lamps

They  are  developing  a  light  unit  for  freshwater  Aquariums,  think  it  will  be  called  KR93  or  KR94.

There  are  a  few  good  options  in  LED  for  light  that  will  sustain  plant  and  coral  life,  but  many  many  rubbish  ones  too.

Hey  come  India  is  not  coming  up  with  LED  tech??
