 Hey  Bro,   Smile

Thanks  a  lot  for  feeling  happy  for  me  -  I'm  glad  to  have  found  a  sweet  little  bro  like  you  here  on  IAH   Smile

Just  wanted  to  mention  this  here  in  Public  Forums  that  I  have  decided  to  carry  forward  the  promise  that  I  had  made  to  myself  when  I  got  the  large  tank  for  my  burundis.  If  anyone  remembers  I  had  decided  and  announced  that  I  will  be  giving  away  the  babies  of  the  first  few  batches  when  my  fronts  start  to  breed  and  I  have  decided  the  same  again  -  I  know  it  will  be  a  fairly  long  time  but  I  promise  on  the  forums  that  if  and  when  my  mobas  breed,  every  single  baby  from  the  first  3  (  or  more  )  batches  will  be  given  away  for  free  to  our  hobbyist  brothers  here  on  IAH  -  provided  they  are  truly  passionate  for  frontosas  and  gibberosas  like  I  am  Smile  (  if  I  may  say  that  )

This  is  because  I  want  these  wonderful  fish  to  be  more  popular,  and  commonly  kept  and  available  to  the  Indian  Hobbyists...

Anyways  thanks  again  Bro  -  I  have  to  write  a  lot  more  here  but  I'm  a  little  occcupied  with  my  baby  boy...

 Hi  kulsdood,

Thanks  for  the  kind  reply  and  for  caring...
Regarding  the  Burundi,  Adip  sir  has  already  talked  to  the  Exporters  in  singapore  and  it  will  be  replaced  in  some  time.

 Anyways  thanks  again...

 Hi  Sir,

Thanks  a  lot  for  the  kind  reply  and  for  caring.  It  feels  wonderful  to  get  appreciated  by  an  experienced  aquarist  -  thanks  again  !

I  have  sold  my  entire  colony  of  16  Burundis  to  a  hobbyist  friend  who  is  as  passionate  as  me  for  frontosas  (  and  have  also  sold  a  lot  of  other  stuff  including  my  gaming  computer  etc  to  arrange  the  money  )  to  get  these  fish...  Now  the  dream  212  gallon  tank  is  home  for  the  Mobas  Smile

 Hi  kulsdood,

Thanks  for  the  kind  reply  and  for  caring  -  I  understand  and  respect  your  knowledge  &  experience  with  the  Lake's  fishes  but  I  feel  that  its  too  early  for  me  to  comment  &  reply  on  your  comments  on  the  yellow  coloration  as  they  have  just  been  in  the  tank  for  a  day  now...  I  guess  I  should  allow  them  to  settle-in  for  a  week  or  more  and  then  decide  on  the  colors  /  mask  ?  Kindly  advice...

Regarding  the  Burundis,  Adip  sir  has  been  very  kind  &  friendly  and  has  already  talked  to  the  Exporters  in  singapore  and  it  will  be  replaced  in  some  time.

 Anyways  thanks  again...

These  fronts  are  breath-taking...And  the  fact  that  someone  can  point  out  something  (objectively)  wrong  with  these  guys  is  mind-blowing...

I  hope  you're  right  about  the  point  that  the  coloration  on  these  already  spectacular  fish  is  going  to  "improve"  over  time  as  they  get  adjusted  to  the  tank.

I  hope  you  and  Kulsdood  continue  to  give  the  rest  of  us  more  information  about  Fronts  and  African  Cichlids  in  general..

 Cheers,
 Sid

Hey  Kush,  I'm  glad  you  will  get  your  replacement...   I  didnt  read  your  first  post  carefully  when  you  mentioned  that  you  got  them  from  Adip....although  I've  never  made  any  deal  with  him  directly  I'm  sure  is  a  respected  person  in  Bangalore....  I'm  sure  he  will  help  you  with  the  replacement....  I  still  suggest  you  get  your  entire  lot  replaced....  the  single  burundi  is  not  an  isolated  problem...  even  the  others  are  not  true  mobas...  and  I  say  so  because  I  know  you  will  keep  them  for  life  and  even  distribute  babies  off  it.....   Sad
