Prospect  lies  better  in  flowing  waters,  rather  than  stagnant  water  bodies.  If  at  all  something  like  a  lake,  try  to  find  out  if  there  is  any  river  /  coast  around,  that  could  have  fed  some  fauna  in  the  past.

You  decide  on  what  fish  you  want  to  target,  then  look  for  suitable  spots.  Otherwise,  most  spots  are  suitable  spots  Smile

Agree  with  Rahul.  Most  spots  are  suitable  spots  if  you  are  after  no  species  in  particular.

How  about  Manjeera  Dam  site  ?  I  had  been  there  once  but  for  collection  of  sand  which  was  not  found  there.  But  there  were  plenty  of  small  fishes  though  I  could  not  identify  any.  I  did  not  have  a  net  so  could  not  get  any  of  those.
 just  pumping  a  possibility!!
