 nope..  hypo  wont  help  in  case  of  chloramine..
 And  u  should  add  hypo  when  u  r  adding  water  to  your  tank..

 Bought  Stress-Coat  but  not  able  to  get  HYPO  &  Chlorine  test  kits  from  SIA...  Have  to  check  with  some  other  LFS...

 The  white  liquid  u  get  at  most  of  the  shops  as  dechlorinator  is  hypo  solution..  use  that  till  u  can  find  crystals..

 Anti-Chlorine  from  Aquasafe  right?  I  have  that  in  my  hand...  Will  use  till  I  get  the  HYPO  Crystals...  Thanks  Mitul...

 If  you  want  to  remove  chlorine  hypo  works  very  well.    For  chloramine  stress  coat  works  good.
 Stress  coat  helps  the  fish  to  regenerate  the  slime  coat  on  its  skin.    If  you  feel  its  too  costly  1  tblspn/20  gal  rock  salt  will  do  the  same.

 Thanks  for  the  info...  Not  able  to  get  rock  salt  (non-iodinized)  is  bit  hard  in  chennai...  Have  to  find  out  some  source...

 Iodized  Rock  Salt  is  also  OK...Do  NOT  use  Table  Salt  (Free  Flow)!!
 When  in  need,  I  just  use  the  iodized  Rock  Salt...No  problems  for  my  fishes...

 ajay,  u  get  the  rock  salt  in  all  grocery  stores...  look  for  packs  that  says  just  "rock  salt"  and  not  "iodized  rock  salt"..  i  think  1kg  is  abt  5Rs  or  so...  and  it  works  just  great  for  me..  my  discus  just  luv  it..  he  he  he...
 
 not  used  hypo  nor  stess  coat  still  ....
