 Tirtha,
You  sure  it  is  the  temperature?  The  temperature  is  already  touching  30  in  my  study  room...the  few  HCs  left  in  the  cube  are  not  growing  (I  dont  give  them  much  light  I  think  and  just  a  little  bit  of  CO2  through  electronic  unit),  but  they  are  not  melting.  Hope  it  is  not  the  dosing...Exel.  You  can  try  Glosso  too

Dada,  I  am  not  dosing  any  Excel  in  that  tank.  Only  running  CO2.  Anyway,  let  me  see  how  it  is  going  for  next  1  week.  Will  take  decision  based  on  that.

Thanks  for  all  the  inputs.  Lets  see  how  it  goes.  Also  thinking  about   introducing  some  more  HC.  But  before  that  need  to  fix  the  tank  temp.

It's  almost  a  month  now  and  the  tank  has  matured  a  little.  Stems  were  growing  mad  so  decided  to  give  them  first  prune.

 Before:

 After:

Adding  5ml  'Seachem  Iron'  since  last  week  every  night  and  getting  a  very  good  result.  Rotalas  immediately  started  showing  the  red.

To  kick  start  the  cycling,  added  6  Threadfins  and  one  Black  molly.

Added  a  set  of  6  AC  fans  and  running  them  for  24x7.  Tank  temp  went  down  below  25  degree.  HC  stopped  melting  but  not  growing  at  all.  Will  replace  them  soon  with  one  interesting  foreground  plant  if  I  can  source  it.  Wink

Immersed  grown  grasses  melted  away  and  can  see  lots  of  new  runners  started  spreading.  Hope  to  get  a  nice  carpet  in  next  2  months.

Have  a  question,  like  you  said  that  you  have  put  6  fans  for  cooling  and  the  temperature  is  maintained,  but  the  evaporation  rate  also  will  be  5  times  more  so  how  do  you  keep  your  water  topped  up  ?  preventing  those  white  marks  ?

Dada,  don't  want  to  overload  the  back  with  Stems.  The  bottom  will  be  over  crowded  and  will  block  the  water  circulation.  Will  keep  prunning  the  tips  to  make  them  bush.  Let  me  know  when  you  are  coming.

Keeping  left  front  corner  empty  for  the  P.  Helferi.

This  time,  already  Rajiv  and  Gaurav  booked  the  cuttings.  Will  take  them  next  time  for  you.

You  are  right.  I  am  topping  up  the  tank  everynight.  After  topping  up,  rub  those  water  marks  with  your  finger  everyday.  They  will  go  away  easily.

As  of  now,  Mosses  didn't  grow  fully.  So  just  waiting  for  some  more  time.  Hope  it  will  take  out  the  beauty  of  the  wood  to  some  extent.  Smile
