Hello Everyone,
From your own experience in the hobby and as a planted tank owner i wanted to know which brand of products would you vouch for, would it be
ADA- Aqua design amano (do aqua!),
Ferka OR
Seachem?
Do give your feedback as it would help make it easier for me and many other users to choose products instead of trial and error with each, as many of you'll would have already done that.
Regards,
Biswadeb |

i used do aqua with good results for my nano(25 litre tank).
I am trying Ferka aquatilizer for my other tank and someone told me that 1-1.5 ml everyday of aquatilizer is sufficient for a moderately planted tank(mine is 70 litres of water).
however i am using DIY ferts for potassium.
the above ferts are o.k for a tank of small size. but if you have bigger tanks then nothing beats DIY and we have a lot of experts here to guide on DIY. |

Hello Everyone,
I am aware of DIY fertilizers and that a lot of people swear by its wonders but this forum was to get a feedback on all the ready to use products that were available in the market.
I know it hasn't helped the purpose much yet but it would be nice to get a feedback. SO please do contribute and share your experiences and take part in the vote. Thanx.

Never used ADA or Seachem ferts. Have tried DIY and Ferka. So how can I create an opinion here on performance. I have not clicked on the poll yet. Found Ferka to be better than my DIY preparation. Simpler to use. Don't have to worry about the combination of chemicals now. |

This is a very old post Jamir, other than increasing your post counts, I dont think your post helped anyone. Please check the date of the post before replying.

used all except ferka but felt better with the ADA stuffs.
the total solution is cool. and plants grow well. in fact it is on the whole much cheaper then its competitor products. if u buy in bulk and use it as recommended.
and it is giving me a feeling that this time my plants and tank will last for a decade.
AZOO and Oceanfree has very limited life .
i would surely go with ADA. DIY might be good and cheap. but i really cannot experiment with chemical compositions and this is time taking and algae attacks are an obvious.
ADA gives me more confidence and algae attacks are minor |
