 Hi  Vyas,

 They  are  un-identified  as  yet,  hence  I  had  mentioned  sp1  &  sp1.

There  are  two  separate  species  of  Balitora  sp.

They  initially  looked   simillar  to  Balitora  brucei  but  colour  pattern,  morphologically  is  different.  This  is  a  very  beautiful  loach  much  more  colourful.

We  did  not  bring  any  loach  back  as  we  did  not  have  proper  aquarium  set  up,  plus  they  would  need  very  fast  flowing  water  and  lower  temprature  probably  max  20-21C  and  Delhi  is  very  hot  in  summers.

Here  is  a  link  to   Balitora  brucei  pictures  on  the  internet  :-

General  naming  convention  is  just  written  as  sp.  probably  with  the  type  locality  inside  quotes  if  considered  undescribed  no  matter  they  are  same  or  different  until  they  are  described.
IMO,  most  of  them  are  Bhavania  than  Balitora  (insertion  of  dorsal  fin  behind  pelvics  as  opposed  to  ahead  or  over  it  as  in  Balitora)  rather  Bhavania  australis  (insertion  of  pectorals  with  pelvics).

I  have  a  feeling  that  Hayath  has  "real  looking"  rubber  models  of  all  the  fish  species  and  he  uses  them  to  click  such  nice  pics.
