Some Unindentified Hill Stream Loaches collected from the Lower Central Himalayas near Uttar Pradesh. ( May be a new species ), the nearest match is a B.brucei, here the large ventral spots are 10- 12 plus the mouth formation , fins are very different. this was a collection and exploration trip undertaken by the Delhi Aquarium club Members and Heiko in Jan 2010.
Biotope :- Fast flowing Hill Stream with Temp Approx 16C in Jan 2010. pH 9.58, Conductivity 132micro_s/cm
Substrate :- Rocks, Pebbles, Sand, covered with green algae.

They are un-identified as yet, hence I had mentioned sp1 & sp1.
There are two separate species of Balitora sp.
General naming convention is just written as sp. probably with the type locality inside quotes if considered undescribed no matter they are same or different until they are described.
IMO, most of them are Bhavania than Balitora (insertion of dorsal fin behind pelvics as opposed to ahead or over it as in Balitora) rather Bhavania australis (insertion of pectorals with pelvics).
