@Sai...Your  compliments  are  way  too  high  man,  I  dare  say  that  with  some  really  serious  scapers  around.
Eitherways,  thanks  for  all  your  support  and  for  the  suggestion  you  gave  initially,  that  did  improved  my  scape.   Smile

@Mudassar....firstly,  thanks  a  bunch  for  your  appreciation!
Regarding  your  previous  post  -  actually  the  layout  was  mocked  up  on  terrace,  then  it  was  copied  on  paper,  then  plants  were  drawn...and  the  actual  layout  is  a  bit  different  actually.

I  wish  I  could  post  the  final  shot  so  soon...anyway,  I'll  be  putting  down  the  pictures  of  progress  it  made  after  that.

@kachua_chap..dont  know  your  name,  do  introduce  yourself  in  new  members  forum  and  update  your  location  details  too.  Thannks  for  dropping  by!

 @Binesh...Thanks!
Your  moss  sure  is  growing  like  a  weed...

Here  is  an  old  picture  of  tenellus...  I  have  restrained  it  to  a  corner,  I  often  remove  runners  going  upto  other  side  of  the  tank  from  under  the  wood.

Here  are  a  couple  of  old  pictures,  will  post  some  recent  shots  once  I  clean  the  glass.

@Arjun..great  to  know  you  like  this  scape,  even  I  happen  to  be  a  fan  of  your  scapes(especially  2  footer),  eagerly  waiting  for  its  updates.

 Update  time...

Here  are  some  pics  from  end  of  march.

Hairgrass  was  added  a  couple  of  days  before  taking  these  pictures.
Blyxa  auberti  planted  temporarily  in  order  to  prevent  algae  in  this  new  setup.  Its  a  quick  growing  plant  that  absorbs  mmuch  of  extra  nutrients,  lucky  that  we  found  it  on  a  collection  trip.
The  wood  after  boiled  for  several  hours  still  tanned  quite  a  lot  then.

And  yes  my  classic  DIY  CO2  distributor  in  this  setup  as  well.  :P

The  fan  played  a  great  role  in  summer.
HM  was  quite  scarce  everywhere  in  the  days  of  heat,  I  got  a  couple  of  cuttings  from  Sai,  divided  them  to  an  inch  each  and  planted  in  left  midground  behind  tenellus.

 elatine  triandra  newly  planted(close  up)

Algae  started  showing  up  on  moss...

 Tank  as  on  April  1st

Elatine  was  one  of  the  fastest  gowing  plants  in  this  tank  look  at  the  progress  of  3days.
And  algae  started  showing  presence  everywhere  else.

 Tank  on  April  6th

 some  good  algae  infestation  here.

 and  here..

 staghorns  too...

The  week  after  6th  was  quite  tough,  I  lost  all  hopes  of  recovery,  there  was  algae  of  every  kind  even  some  fungal  formation  on  wood  was  also  seen.  People  at  my  home  blamed  CO2  cylinder  for  it  :(

 To  be  continued...

Hamza  just  how  effect  is  that  fan  in  keeping  the  temp  cool?  summers  here  get  to  34c  ambient  and  the  water  reaches  32c  with  humdity  at  nearly  90%  am  just  wondering  how  effective  is  it  at  cooling  the  temp  in  the  tank?
