Recently  I  have  got  my  first  beta  from  Dada's  Shop.

 Tank  Size  :  15  X  15  X  15  cm  cube.
Food  :  Tetra  bits/Hikari  Discus  Bio  Gold.

Planning  to  transfer  it  in  another  tank.  Can  I  use  a  single  tank  for  two  males  with  partation?

 Hi  Rajeev,

 Nice  betta  to  start  with.
Personally  i  don't  like  to  feed  tetra  bits  to  bettas,  had  bad  experience  in  the  past.
Hikari  has  Betta  bio  gold  especially  for  Bettas,  you  can  try  that.  Its  pretty  good.

Yes  you  can  keep  them  in  a  same  tank  with  partition,  but  make  sure  partition  is  opaque,  otherwise  bettas  will  keep  flaring  at  each  other  and  will  be  stressed.

Funny  Incident:  I  had  bettas  in  a  partitioned  tank  (glass  partition),  one  jumped  into  the  other  partition,  and  by  the  time  i  noticed,  my  Halfmoon  had  become  Crown  tail   Chuckle

P.S  -   I  keep  them  in  6  inches  Cube  too,  and  WC  is  twice  weekly.

A  lot  of  thanks  for  valuable  suggestion.  I  will  make  the  partation  by  plastic   and  make  some  holes  so  that  a  single  filter  can  be  use.

 Hi  Rajiv,  nice  one.
Mine  enjoys  Hikari  Betta  Bio  Gold  very  much.  Alternative  days,  freeze  dried  blood  worms  too.  Sometimes  live  mosquito  larvae.  These  will  make  your  betta  thank  you  a  lot!!

 Regards

Hi  Rajiv  (apologies  for  misspelling  your  name  in  earlier  post)
Which  filter  are  you  planning  to  use?  As  far  as  i  know,  bettas  don't  like  much  turbulence  in  the  tank.
Please  check  with  an  experienced  betta  keeper  on  the  filter  part.

 Regards

 Dear  Rajiv  ji,

From  my  experience,  its  good  if  you  feed  your  betta  with  dried  blood  worms  (alteast  twice  a  week,  for  one  feeding  only).  Good  for  their  development  but  yes  dont  feed  it  often  otherwise  if  they  get  used  to  it  they  wont  accept  any  other  food.  They  are  like  small  kids  if  you  taste  them  chocolate  they  will  prefer  to  have  it  all  the  time  Smile

I  offer  them  Hikari  Discus  bio  gold  and  Tetra  bits.  I  kept  these  smarties  first  time  so  don't  know  more  about  their  feeding  habits.  I  will  also  bring  dried  blood  worms.
