 Hi  Amit!
If  you  want  to  mod  a  CPU  fan,  you  can  pick  up  one  from  any  hardware  vendor.
I  guess  you  will  only  need  an  adapter  AC-DC  and  some  nut  bolts  to  mount  the  fan  on  your  tank.

There  is  a  shop  right  opposite  "Bijlee"  in  the  Electric  galli  (if  you  know  where  that  is).  I  forgot  the  name  of  the  Store  but  I  think  it  called  RICO  or  something.   Its  deals  with  radio  components  and  stuff  like  that.  He  has  a  60  page  catalouge  for  you  to  choose  from.  He  also  has  the  other  AC-DC  convertors  and  stuff  like  that.

Just  couple  of  meters  before  Pasoba  Vittoba  mandir  on  the  right  hand  side,  1st  floor  there  is  a  shop  called  sejutron.  You  could  ask  for  rack  fan.  Its  AC.

I  would  suggest  going  for  120mm  DC  fans.  They  move  more  air,  are  silent  and  consume  lot  less  power  than  AC  fans.

The  regular  computer  cabinet  fans  can  easily  be  fixed  to  tanks.  I  have  one  fixed  to  the  hood  and  another  on  two  clips.  Have  couple  of  snaps  on  how  I  have  done  it.

All  you  need  is  couple  of  clothing  clips  and  ties

Thanks  a  lot  for  the  ideas  and  providing  location.

Shubhankar/Deepak  -  I  guess  I  will  go  with  a  mod  CPU  fan  setup.

 Appreciate  the  help!!

For  those  who  wants  to  use  computer  fans--  Please  search  for  230V  AC  fans.  You  will  get  the  same  sized  fans  at  nominal  price  difference.

Mohan,  I  would  rather  spend  more  and  get  the  DC  fan.  The  AC  fans  consume  ~30watts  of  power  for  almost  the  same  amount  of  air  to  be  moved  compared  to  a  DC  fan  which  consumes  ~6watts.

I  would  suggest  looking  at  how  much  air  the  fan  moves  (like  cfm  -  cubic  feet/minute)  and  power  drawn  for  making  better  decisions.

Vireesh,  I  use  a  12v  500ma  adapter  which  is  easily  available  at  electronic  shops.
