This is an excellent setup , always like you detail and the step by step photography ....
The plants choosen nicely , for the fishes if you can get your hands on some "false neon tetras" , then would be brillant or ember tetra would also look very nice........just a suggestion ...... |

Deb: The Inlet, As in from the tank to the filter, which i have replaced with the Eheim Intake.
Kshitij: Thanks , Still have some plants on my mind that will go in there based on how the scape shapes up. By the way , what is the Flase Neon Tetra? |

Hi Buddy
Well done!! Looking good........the stone in the center on top of the drift wood, I am guessing it is to weigh the wood down, if not I would recommend you remove it, is a bit distracting...takes away from the drift wood.

The Driftwood has finally sunk, so removed the stone in the center, Planted Eleocharis vivipara at the back of the driftwood , also added some more Crypt Wendetti "Tropica" on either sides at the back to fill in some of the empty space. Here is the picture.

great tank.........but i suspect that in 4-5 months the bolbitis would throw leaves forward and block the light for the HC carpet. |

Hello Seetharam....any blocking mechanism to stop hair grass & HC not to propogate to each others area?
Muddassar - i think there is enough space given at the bottom of driftwood where HC is not planted...mostly covered with rocks so bolbitis may not block light for HC.
Cheers,
Binesh |

I think the case of E Parvula taking over HC can be checked by trimming. Plus a little natural progression is always welcome |
