after months of waiting,i finally got my hands on this amazing foreground plant, glossostigma
i want to thank my lfs here and a member of iah who has given me some useful tips on how to grow them.
it was really a pain cutting each glosso and then planting them, since i do not have a tweeser .but nevertheless,i guess if it grows,it would be worth the effort
here are some intial pictures of my setup.i'll keep my fingers crossed and lets see what happens

size-15*12*12
substrate-pottind soil at the bottom, laterite, humus plus and coarse gravel all mixed.
lighting-currently 2.2 wpg.ataching a 36w pll today
the only worry is the temperature of the water.i have kept the level of the water low and attaching a 36w cfl would increase the temperature,as my hood is all covered
any suggestions? |

May be you can have some sort of slope between left and right side of the hood and leave them open/Vents. this will set up natural draught for the cooling. I feel you will have a self regulating tank. |
