 Regards,
 Rohan.
thank  you
 nope  no  roof
just  the  6'+  depth  and  some  uber  filtration  thats  all,  BTW  once  the  tors  come  in,  they  need  the  algae  and  the  algae  needs  direct  sunlight

This  is  is  bloody  cool..  !
I  just  dont  like  the  blue  tiles  though.
Any  ideas  to  to  make  it  look  as  natural  as  possible  ?

thank  you
the  blue  tiles  are  for  the  contrast  mostly,  there  will  be  adequate  driftwood  in  the  pond  and  the  filtration  unit  will  provide  a  nice  little  place  with  shade  for  the  top  pred  in  the  pond

Well,  the  blue  color  gives  the  tank  a  sense  of  depth  while  providing  adequate  contrast  to  the  fish  in  the  tank.

The  "rims"  (borders)  between  the  tiles  can  be  colored  (very  close  to)  the  exact  blue  color  of  the  tiles.

 Cheers,
 Sid

no  mate,  no  coloring  to  the  rims  or  anywhere,  i  just  can't  wait  any  longer  to  get  the  pond  cycling,  before  it  can  be  stocked.

i  even  discarded  the  idea  for  halogen  lights  underwater,  for  the  reason  that  they  forgot  and  wanted  to  do  rework  and  take  more  time  for  finishing  the  pond.

i  will  look  at  the  fish  when  its  morning

am  not  much  into  how  good  it  looks
i  am  more  interested  in  how  best  it  suits  the  purpose,  and  this  does  quite  well  ;)

PS:  theres  no  update  for  this  weekend  as  there  wasn't  any  work  done  this  week,  lack  of  bar-benders,  who  had  to  start  work  on  the  filter.
so  lets  hope  theres  some  work  done  during  the  coming  week.

ok  heres  xmas  update  of  the  pond

the  work  on  filter  has  begun  and  the  required  bar  bending  work  is  completed,  and  gives  a  rough  idea,  as  to  how  the  filter  would  look  upon  completion

 here  are  a  few  pics

the  filter  is  gonna  work  like  a  drip  filter,  where  the  water  from  the  pond  will  directly  go  into  the  top  tank  which  has  a  diamond  shape  and  the  equal  sides  are  of  the  size  2.5'  and  a  height  of  2'

the  water  in  this  tank  is  gonna  go  thru  a  lot  of  filter  media  and  then  fall  into  the  next  tank  which  is  also  diamond  shaped  and  the  equal  sides  are  of  length  5'  and  a  height  of  2.5'

this  tank  will  constitute  of  a  lot  of  filter  media  and  a  lot  of  vallisneria,  the  filtered  water  then  falls  into  the  pond.

 heres  a  full  pond  shot

no  leak  test  sai,  it  has  been  built  like  a  swimming  a  pool,  thus  it  has  been  built  to  be  waterproof  and  the  pond  before  being  plastered  and  tiled  was  coated  with  a  waterproofing  chemical,  which  they  use  while  building  swimming  pools  and  water  storage  tanks.

the  pond  is  going  to  have  quite  a  few  monsters  and  water  changes  are  gonna  be  quite  spare,  thus  the  heavy  filtration

 Hi  Jibran,

No  updates  for  quite  a  few  weekends!  You  must  be  busy.

Is  the  pond  cycled?  Are  the  cats  in  there  already?  :)

Please  post  a  few  pics  and  a  few  updates  when  you  get  a  chance.

 Cheers,
 Sid
