It  began  from  here  -  Getting  back  to  Planted  tank

 Anyway  so  from  here

 It  went  to  here

I  thought  I  had  lost  the  touch!!!  but  I  was  extremely  happy  with  what  came  out  in  the  end  :)

and  Finally  to  this  last  night

 Water  still  a  bit  glossy.
More  plants  will  be  added  later:  Amazons  at  the  back,  a  few  more  Anubias  and  Moss.  GF  wants  me  to  add  Giant  grass  like  on  my  earlier  tank.
A  few  more  fore  ground  plants,  thinking  of  pigmy  grass  &  chain  amazons

Today  added  few  fishes,  Mollies,  Platis  &  Algae  Eaters

By  late  eve  today  a  few  plants  already  started  to  oxygenate  Smile
 Anubia  breathing  Smile

Substrate  is  unchanged:  River  sand  with  small  Laterite  bed
 Filter:  Eheim  2217
Lighting:  2x36W  PLLs  using  with  the  celling  fitting  for  better  output  will  be  adding  another  one  by  Tuesday
CO2  with  Dymax  internal  reactor  1bubble/2seconds  (this  has  always  worked  for  me  in  the  past  too)  I  check  my  CO2  levels  with  a  test  kit  usually  from  the  3rd  day  on.
No  Dosing  as  of  now,  will  start  to  Microsol  B  &  requisite  salts  after  1  week.

So  what  do  you  guys  think??

Suggestions  on  Additional  Plants  &  Fishes  are  welcome.

 Kaushik

 Thanks  guys.  Very Happy

Somehow  Amazons  seem  to  be  the  plants  in  demand.  not  available  anywhere!!!

Any  suggestions  on  What  Moss  would  go  better  with  the  setup???  Should  I  add  Ferns  at  the  back  instead  of  Amazons??

 Nice  attempt  Kaushik,
Don't  plant  Amazons,  I'm  having  problems  with  Amazons,  Sooner  or  later  it  becomes  too  tall  to  cross  the  height  of  the  tank  and  the  only  thing  visible  are  ugly  stems  and  in  some  varieties,  like  E-ocelot  the  leaves  are  so  wide  that  it  may  not  let  enough  light  to  pass  on  to  other  plants.
E-tennelus,  E-quadristata,  Ferns  are  better  options.
The  driftwood  on  the  left  hand  side  is  pointing  towards  the  front.  Looks  odd.  Please  make  it  point  towards  top,  it  would  look  better.  Smile

 Thanks  for  the  suggestions

The  thing  is  that  the  wood  is  such  if  I  make  that  branch  go  up  it  looks  even  more  odd  with  the  thicker  wood  up  &  the  thinner  wood  down.  And  well  I  like  to  keep  things  as  much  natural  as  possible  &  not  Scape  it  such  to  perfection,  as  is  even  in  nature  usually  the  ticker  part  of  the  wood  would  be  towards  the  bed.
Earlier  some  part  of  the  wood  was  inside  the  substrate  but  after  adding  water  it  floated  outside  and  stayed  in  this  current  position  so  I  let  it  be.  :)

Good  input  on  the  Amazons,  What  Ferns  should  I  try??  And  any  inputs  on  Moss...  how  will  Christmas  moss  fare  in  this  setup.

You  know  the  combination  of  green  and  wood  color  always  have  its  own  charm.  So  I  really  like  this.  You  said  its  your  first  attempt  but  I  really  like  this  establish  it  much  and  do  post  more  pictures  of  it.
