this  is  going  to  be  awesome!  just  want  to  ask,  whats  the  use  of  Tourmaline  BC?  also,  have  you  ever  used  Powersand  before?

Tourmaline  BC  contains  bamboo  charcoal  which  helps  to  improve  the  substrate  environment.

Prashanta,  You  have  given  me  way  too  much  credit  here,  Its  your  willingness  to  learn  and  applying  what  you  have  learnt  which  shows  out  eventually  in  what  you  do  ,  And  after  seeing  this  scape  im  really  happy  that  our  discussions  were  useful   Smile

 Thanks  Seetharam   Very Happy

Frankly  speaking,  I  didn’t  have  any  clue  about  planted  aquarium  before  attending  Amano’s  work  shop  conducted  by  IAH  in  the  year  2009.  After  attending  that  work  shop  I  meet  you  at  your  place  and  I  was  just     Shocked   Shocked   Shocked  by  looking  at  your  tank…Till  that  time  I  had  never  seen  a  planted  tank  like  yours  and  you  took  the  pain  to  clear  all  my  doubts  related  to  aquascape,  planted  aquarium  etc.  Till  now  I  am  giving  you  trouble  whenever  I  have  some  doubt  related  to  planted  aquarium   Bow

Everythings  good  except  for  that  giant  lilly,  valisneria  on  right  and  large  crypt(?)  on  left,  IMHO.  These  plants  are  killing  the  whole  perspective  of  the  scape.  Better  replace  them  with  stems  or  atleast  smaller  textured  plants.

No  doubt  they  are  good  plants  individually,  but  arent  suitable  for  the  kind  of  setup  you've  done.

Thanks  for  the  suggestion  Hamza...really  appreciated   Thumb Up
 -  The  giant  lilly  I  have  put  in  the  right  corner  bcuz  to  prevent  direct  light  falling  on  anubias  and  ferns.
 -  Valisneria:  Its  not  valisneria,  its  Crinum  thaianum-Onion  plant  (used  this  because  they  wouldn’t  spread  like  vals.)
 -  Large  crypt  (Cryptocoryne  cordata  var.  ‘Thailand’  )  at  right:  Its  for  the  same  purpose  as  the  red  lilly  in  the  left

Will  wait  for  some  time  till  the  tank  get  matured  and  if  this  doesn't  look  good  then  will  replace  them...BTW  any  suggestion  for  plants  in  the  same  place  (if  I  remove  those)???
