Thanks rateesh and kafeel.
The paint work is on today.. The inner tileless area is getting a coat of white cement.. the outer walls are getting a coat of white cement and white paint.. the wood frames are getting a mahogany finish.. will update with pics later.. |

The prep work got done for the painting and mahogany finish for the frame.. guess it will take a couple of days for the whole paint part to get done..
White cement coat on outer wall..
White cement coat on inner cemented area..
The first coat for the mahogany finish on the frames..

@raghu - this pond/tank is right next to a huge neem tree.. and when the leaves start shedding it gets crazy.. so i couldn't leave like an opening on top for a more natural effect.. there is a clear polycarbonate sheet but that would jus show all the debris on top.. i chose the blue cos i found this to let in the most amount of light post the clear sheet.. i have to agree it def is a bit blue(er)
@abhis - thank you.. i'm as impatient or a little more impatient than you on this.. hopefully in a week mate.. i know i've been sayin that for the last 4 weeks  but better i sort the whole thing rather than release the fish now and start worrying.. i gotta be standing with a whip and slave driving the people to complete the work quicker now ha ha ha.. |

Whip and slave are very good options and ideas
In a project like this magnitude you need to have a gun as well.
I am waiting with lots and lots of patience for this and wish you all the very best for the tank.
