yes, it's true...just avoid it
regarding our hooby there are two places to visit
1 in Pattaya....."Underwater World" and other in Bangkok..."Siam Ocean World"
and for shopping (aquarium related) go to Chatuchak market... |

Be very careful for your belongings in that market and camera is a strict no no.
Will need atleast one full day to just have round about in the market. |

I haven't visted thailand even once.
This was from my friends experience.
He was having a look at a Pygmy Marmoset and in the crowd he got a dash and realised his wallet gone, never to trace back. |

Well dont have to worry about the Pro's not interested in them.....
But apart from chatuchak market any other place?
what about bringing livestock????
am also planning to see a arowana breeding farm.... |

IMO you should drop plan to bring livestock from Thailand. Their laws are pretty strict regarding illegal movement of livestock out of their country without authentic procedure. Heard about many confiscation incidences at Bangkok airport without Livestock Health papers from local 'Animal Quarantine Station'. |

| iv been to thailand 8 times well its jus fun go for massages in pattaya and bkk and chiang mai........ if u asking for fish products, the best place is singapore, i get my stuff only from there........... |

| well dont get if u got no influence in customs at the airport or airport police, max u can get are plants because if u get caught, there is 1 week or month or year non bailable depending on what u geting.... ya u got influence at the docks thn its better...... |

| It is almost impossible to get live fish back from Thailand. They are very strict. It also takes around a month or so to get the livestock certificate from the authorities. You can get plants. Maybe carry half in your luggage and post hte other half to yourself from there (just in case) |
