I  was  trying  to  get  feedback  for  Inline  diffuser  not  a  reactor  in  this  thread  so  got  confused.

It's  a  damn  good  reactor.  Used  it  for  a  long  time  and  got  very  good  result.  But  the  only  problem  is  getting  a  maching  capacity  powerhead  to  drive  it  to  it's  full  extent.

 Hi  Tirtha  ,
I  was  just   wondering  is  there  any  specific  reason  you  are  going  for  the  atomizer.  Can  it  provide  better  dissolution  than  the  attached  DIY  stuff.   I  am  using  this  for  some  time  now  and  it  appears  almost  all  of  the  CO2  inputs  gets  dissolved  because  of  the  strong  agitation  in  the  bottle

Sudheer,  Looks  are  equally  important  to  scapers.  I  bottle  is  the  last  thing  I  would  like  to  see  in  my  tank,  no  matter  how  much  good  it  diffuses  Co2  if  I  have  a  equivalent  and  more  aesthetically  soothing  way  of  doing  it.

My  Cans  are  missing  you  and  the  algaes  both.  Come  back  soon.

These  kind  of  DIY  Diffusers/  Reactors  are  good  only  when  the  bubble  counts  are  low.  The  moment  you  will  jack  up  the  CO2  you  will  see  lots  of  bubbles  are  going  out  before  dissolving  to  the  water.  This  is  reason  we  keep  looking  for  different  diffuser  and  reactor.  A  better  mixer  will  give  you  a  fixed  level  of  dissolved  CO2  without  wasting  it.

And  another  reason  is  asthetics  too.

 Thanks  Thirtha  &  Dev,
Aesthetics,  ok  if  tank  is  not  big  enough  it  can  be  an  issue  but  if  you  have  enough  plants   and  big  tank  it  will  not  be  visible  at  all.  In  my  2  ft  tank  one  has  to  struggle  to  see  the  bottle.  Thirtha's  point  is  valid  but  I  think  by  choosing  a  long  enough  glass  tube  (  remember     our  chemistry  labs  for  +2)  with  a  rubber  cap  both  aesthetics  and  dissolution  probs  may  be  tackled  I  believe,  but  I  need  to  demonstrate  it  before  I  claim,  let  us  see  when  I  get  back  to  hyd.
 with  best  regards,
 Sudheer

Sudheer,  if  you  want  to  make  a  good  reactor  come  and  take  one  that  I  have  made  as  per  Rex  Grigg  style.  I  did  not  have  the  time  to  test  it.

Hi,  a  couple  of  answers  for  you  guys  about  the  UP  diffusor

1]  It  is  more  effective  than  the  glass  diffusors.  Not  only  does  it  dissolve  the  gas  in  the  water  but  spreads  microbubbles  of  CO2  in  the  water  which  is  even  more  effective  than  a  high  dissolved  CO2.

2]  Microbubbles  in  tank  look  may  not  be  to  your  liking

 3]  Decent  quality

4]  Quite  easy  to  clean.  I  just  dip  it  in  hydrogen  peroxide  for  a  few  hrs  once  in  a  couple  of  months

5]  Needs  a  lot  of  and  precise  fiddling  with  your  needle  valve  to  get  the  levels  right  or  you  will  gas  your  fish

6]  Regulator  needs  to  be  able  to  output  gas  at  a  pressure  of  atleast  1.7  bars  otherwise  it  wont  work

I  had  another  couple  of  points  but  I  cant  remember
Overall  it  is  a  good  buy  and  well  worth  the  cash
