After  two  years  and  awesome  plant  growth,  many  a  months  neglected,  especially  the  past  six  months  where  I  must  have  done  3  water  changes  at  the  most,
and  with  2  MH  lamps  conked  out  etc.,  etc.,
Today  I  got  down  to  the  business  of  maintaining  this  tank.

The  Guilin  rocks  I  had  used  crumbled,  and  I  am  fed  up  of  this  stuff,  so  I  had  to  go  for  a  complete  rescape.
Started  out  at  8:30  AM,  pulled  all  the  plants  out,  removed  the  crumbling  Guilin  rocks,  and  started  over  again.

The  rocks  I  have  added  now  to  the  tank  were  collected  years  ago  when  I  had  my  Tanganyikan  Cichlid  tank.
These  have  gone  into  the  tank.
 Here's  the  pic

This  tank  has  to  be  planted  today  !

Mostly  what  was  there  previously  Seetharam  !  Don't  have  the  time  for  a  complete  new  look.
Various  Cryptocoryne  sp.,  the  Pontederifolia  had  taken  off  and  I  have  a  huge  massive  bunch.  It  overshadowed  the  N  japonica  altogether.
I  pulled  out  18  inch  long  rhizome  of  the  nuphar  !

Probably  a  couple  of  Euricolon  will  be  new.

No  Crypts  and  Japonica  this  time  please.  When  you  are  at  home  this  time,  you  can  maintain  them  now.

Left  hand  side  looking  fine  where  as  the  middle  &  right  rocks  looking  out  of  the  place.
