Is lightning is must for the planted tank????
My tank is placed outside the house and it will get natural light... |

First read some old articles from IAH on planted tank...you will get the answer...
Also just dont keep tank outside under sunlight...read more n more you will get the answer why I am saying this.... |

| natural light will lead to excess algae issues. with artificial light you can control the amount of light that that aquarium gets.no plant can survive without light. even aquatic plants do photosynthesis and for that they need light. |
