 Hi  Omar,

I  am  afraid  those  are  not  available  in  India,  cause  I  never  heard
about  any  one  getting  hands  on  those.  However  I  am  not  completely  denying
 their  existence  in  India.

 btw

Please  update  your  location  information  so  that  Aquarists  near  you  might  be  able  to
 Help  you..   Smile

Do  you  refer  to  Sakura  /  Red  Fire  variant  of  Red  Cherry  Shrimp?  RCS,  Neocaridina  heteropoda?
If  so,  you  usually  can  breed  them  from  a  good  strain  of  'normal'cherry  shrimp,  just  be  selective  with  the  offspring
other  than  color  density  they  are  just  like  normal  RCS

Omar,  keep  an  eye  on  the  news  paper.  There  is  an  annual  fish  show  thats  held  in  Cochin  ever  Aug  or  Sept.  There  is  this  guy  who  has  displayed  Fire  Red  Shrimps  in  the  last  4  shows  i  have  been  to.  Bloody  expensive  if  you  ask  me  for  an  invert.

 Hello  Omar,

Have  been  keeping  a  blood  red  for  over  18months  now.  Easy  to  keep.

Not  guaranteed  to  be  cleaners.  Will  consume  pellets  on  the  sandbed.  Not  intentionally  fed.  However,  they  are  reclusive.

Update  you  location  so  local  members  can  help.

Rarely  available  in  Mumbai.  Will  eat  almost  anything  that  fits  in  its  mouth.  Need  a  heavily  planted  aqua  to  support  these  guys.  Will  scare  and  shy  out  if  not  enough  hiding  places..  Anything  like  cables,  air  hoses,  etc  going  out  of  the  tank  needs  to  be  taken  care  of..  These  critts  are  good  climbers  and  hardy  at  bustin  out  of  the  tank..  Would  suggest  a  species  only  setup,  or  along  with  tiny  mates  like  smaller  tetras..  Unable  to  cope  with  excess  CO2..Quite  hardy  in  terms  of  water  params..  Best  kept  in  cooler  climates  approx  22  Ds,  with  6.5  ph...  Females  tend  to  grow  bigger  than  males...hate  bright  light...

The  worst  casualties  would  be  caused  by  tankmates  trying  to  nip  at  them  and  these  guys  going  touring  outside  the  tank....I  lost  about  4...One  day  they  just  vanished....  Beware....  Yu  have  been  warned....

 Regards
 Push
