I  have  started  one  scape  recently  for  my  shop.  Luckily,  I  have  taken  pics  of  the  different  stages  of  setup,  so  this  can  be  termed  as  a  not  so  detailed  journal.  I  always  think,  when  I  am  contemplating  a  scape,  that  I  will  do  a  detailed  journal,  like  the  ones  I  see  so  often  in  different  forums,  but  almost  always  when  I  am  actually  starting  the  scape,  I  do  not  have  a  camera  with  me.  So  I  miss  out.  Somehow  this  time  I  was  more  conscious,  so  I  had  taken  few  snaps.  Please  let  me  know  what  all  you  guys  think  about  the  work  that  has  been  done  as  on  date.

 The  hard  scape.

Have  had  planted  HC  Cuba  and  E  Parvula  yerterday.  This  is  a  DSM  phase.  Will  add  some  more  plants.  Suggest  some  plants  please.  I  will  add  Hydrocotyle  Siberpothoides  surely,  may  be  Staurogene  Sps.  Pics  after  planting.  The  planting  plan  is  not  final  and  plants  will  be  moved  around  to  get  the  desired  effect.

 Some  pics  after  planting.

 Hey  Dev

The  Hardscape  looks  lovely.  I  liked  the  way  the  rocks  are  arranged.

What  kind  of  rocks  are  these???????????

Also  "IMO"  Only  the  theme  where  the  sand  divides  the  scape  is  pretty  old  fashioned  now..............Sad
i  guess  you  could  cover  it  up  completely  or  use  it  in  any  one  of  the  sides  to  show  a  river  or  a  any  other  format  that  you  have  in  mind......:)

 Anish,

what  you  are  saying  was  given  a  lot  of  thought.   Chuckle

How  ever,  the  nude  view  will  be  covered  in  places  by  over  grown  plants  in  time,  and  may  be  will  look  not  that  old  fashioned.

I  am  yet  to  give  a  suitable  name  for  these  rocks.  Till  that  time,  you  can  call  it  'Dev  rocks'!   Thumb Up   Just  kidding.   Chuckle

 small  suggestions  from  my  side!
U  can  cover(drift  it  inside  the  soil)the  Big  rocks  backside  part  marked  with  red  lines.  mite  get  a  better  look  then.
and  you  can  add  a  very  small  rock   in  the  right  hand  side  foreground  completely  digged  inside  like  that  you  have  done  in  the  left  side(showed  with  the  arrow).
 Just  my  2  cents!   Smile

 Nice  One  Deb  !!

But  if  you  want  that  Decoarative  Sand  to  be  visible,  Better  outline  the  whole  thing  with  small  rocks  tied  with  moss,  else  the  ADA  will  fall  over  that  and  look  very  odd.  All  the  best.
