don't know i searched a lot for this name in google but doesnt find any results for it, LFS guy told this name only n i have confirmed from him many a times this name....but the fish was damm beautiful.... |

something tells me this is a veil tail german blue ram or some tank bred variety. |

Well LFS have lots of stupid names for fish :)
@topgun - They are really beautiful but also very very aggressive and will not let anything else live peacefully once they are fully mature.
you would be better off keeping a pair of jaguars. |

not sure of the prices but they are a bit rare out here and i dont think they can be kept in a pair. |

LFS guys do this all the time
eg. Cichlid = Chicklet, Ramirezi = Rama Rosy,etc.
If the name ain't so obvious, this leads to a lot of confusion.
When I was new to the hobby almost 9 years back, I bought a plain greyish brown coloured fish called 'Cosby Gourami' who was with me for 2 years. It was very hardy and was one of my favourites. But never saw a gourami like that later. All online searches led to the three spot Blue Gourami (Trichogaster trichopterus). But the actual fish was some different species.
I learnt, then, never ever to take an LFS vendor's word for granted. |

know as buttikofferi cichlid damn aggressive dont even think of bying it until you have a 6 feet tank atleast it killed my 7 inch oscars while at 5 inches,flowerhorn red devil and few more with in two days while i was out of station he did not ate them just killed them..by the way where you saw them in delhi which LFS and can please PM me the price .. caz 1 of my frnds need to bye some :)
