 Hey  All,

After  learining  from  this  forum  I  decided  to  make  my  own  PMDD  for  macro  neutrients,  so  went  to  Dava  bazar  in  mumbai  and  inquired  for  the  necesarry  chemicals.

 K2SO4  (potassium  sulfate)
 KNO3  (potassium  nitrate)
MgSO4-7H2O  (magnesium  Sulfate  heptahydrate)  (Epsom  salt)

they  are  available  in  minium  500gms  pack  and  total  cost  for  the  products  goes  to  Rs  400/-
Also  Gluteraldehye  costs  Rs  400/-  for  minimum  500ml  bottle,  the  total  cost  is  Rs  800/-
The  total  quantity  is  too  much  for  the  use  and  also  the  concern  of  expiry.

So  was  wondering  if  anybody  is  willing  to  share  them,  we  can  buy  the  chemicals  and  share  them  in  equal  proportions.
Looking  forward  for  people  basically  from  mumbai.

Please  PM  or  reply  if  any  body  intrested.

 Hi  Anil  and  Sanjay

You  will  also  need  Potassium  phosphate.  The  right  combination  is  NPK  which  is  Nitrate/Phosphate/Potassium.

Make  sure  you  handle  Glutaraldehyde  soln  with  care.  You  need  to  use  goggles,  gloves  and  gas  mask  when  the  bottle  is  opened.  Try  to  get  a  25%  conc.  bottle  as  it  is  less  harmful.  Dont  inhale  it,  as  it  is  cancer  causing.

 Regards

 Sandeep

 Hi  Anil

 When  can  we  buy  this.

Yesterday  I  got  1  ltr  DIY  liquid  fert  from  Affable  Aquarium  (  Nitesh  Patel)  .  His  collection  of  planted  tanks  is  to  be  seen  to  be  believed.  He  uses  same  DIY  fert  for  his  tanks.  I  am  eager  to  see  the  results  on  my  tank.

Can  you  pls  share  your  mobile  number.  Mine  is  9867988882.

 hi,
Yes  you  people  are  right.  Investing  in  all  these  full  bottle  chemicals  is  very  expensive.  Luckily  through  sources  I  got  about  half  of  all  these  full  packets  but  still  a  large  amount  is  left  to  no  use.  I  could  share  some  of  it  with  any  hobbyist  who  needs  to  make  PMDD.  drop  me  a  PM  for  the  request.

 @marshalmaveric

do  u  have  a  micronutrient  powder?

have  u  heard  of  csm-b,  it  has  excellent  reviews,  used  by  AGA  and  IAPLC  winners.  many  of  our  best  aquarists  (like  T2Chatto)  are  using  it,  it  is  delivered  to  your  doorstep.  ....
