Which Protein Skimmer would you suggest for a 25Gallon marine tank?
I am mostly looking at a hang on skimmer as my sump is too small to accommodate a big skimmer.
FYI: Sump is only 1sq feet cube!!!
Can anybody suggest me a nano skimmer. Also the availability of the skimmer... |

A friend of mine has a Deltec MCE 300 for sale...
Otherwise i would recommend the reef octopus hob, you will have to order it online if you want it...
Local stuff is useless so don't bother with it... |

Hi GatorX,
Deltec MCE 300 says the following:
• Normal Stocking 320 lts (70 UK gallons)
• Heavy Stocking 225 lts (50 UK gallons)
But my tank is only 95 lts!!. So do I really need this big skimmer?
Reef octopus hob, where do I buy online? Could you please lead me to the website? |

Water life is in Westbengal, Howrah district in fact 10 KMs from my native home but, I am now in chennai for job and I have also starting up 25G nano reef which is a Cube (45X45X45). Tank is ready, but me too looking for a skimmer that would be either HOB style or can be kept in sump..
by the way I have selected 1 skimmer in the following link(Again the main store is in WB by accident) by RedSea, and seems promising..

| I have a RO BH-2000 in my 34g solana, I am really happy with the performance. No too many adjustments and the pump is external so less heat transfer. |

Guys I am not in a salty side of the hobby but I plan to do so in the near future or may be not completely depends on the decision of the Home Minister
@xarg0n
why not try BOYU skimmers from shopatsimba.com, a chennai based company. Also Boyu skimmers are not recommended by many marine hobbyist but since we are dealing with nanos then I think it should serve the purpose for the price it comes in.
For the size of tank you guys are planning I think this skimmer would do the work.

Also a video of the same product in action but under different brand.
