 Very  nice  Shelly  !!  i  hope  you  would  have  done  a  trial  round  with  the  connection  to  the  liquid  because  the  torque  required  with  liquid  will  be  more.

 Thanks  for  the  comments.  The  motor  is  synchronous  230V  AC  motor.  All  materials  used  are  Acrylic  sheet.

 Yes.  The  motor  is  a  geared  motor.  So  it  will  take  a  very  good  torque.  Its  already  going  to  be  commercial...  Idea   Idea   Very Happy

 One  question  ....  usually  the  dosing  is  around  5ml  or  10  ml.....  so  when  the  syringe  pumps  in  5ml  /  10  ml  ......becos  of  the  long  tubes  will  it  reach  the  tank  ?...or  will  it  still  be  in  the  tube  ....  sorry  if  this  is  a  silly  question  .

 That's  a  good  idea.  Already  syringe  doser  is  present  in  the  pharmaceuticals  industries.  Those  are  more  advanced  and  accurate..

 The  entire  setup  has  to  be  primed  in  the  initial  stage.  Once  it  is  primed,  the  entire  strecth  tube  will  be  filled  with  the  liquid.  Now  when  the  syringe  pushes  5/10ml,  the  tube  will  dispense  5/10ml.
 
 Before  priming  the  entire  tube,  there  would  be  air  in  the  tube.  This  air  has  to  be  removed  by  priming  the  tube.

 Thumb Up     That  black  rubber  in  the  syringe  will  react  to  chemicals.  Hardens  within  a  short  period  if  time,  replace  the  syringe  with  all  plastic,  like  this  one
