 Is  he  still  with  you?

Yes,  he's  still  with  us.  He  doesn't  eat  as  much  as  he  used  to  though,  but  he  comes  out  twice  a  week.

Maybe  you  can  try  frozen  sliversides?  Those  fishes  are  really  oily,  eel  can  smell  it  very  well!
We  use  a  tong  to  hold  the  frozen  fish  moving  around,  so  the  eel  got  confused,  he  thinks  the  tong  is  another  eel  or  something,  he  always  bites  the  tong  first  then  grab  the  frozen  sliverside  back  to  his  pipe.  Ours  won't  eat  if  the  fish  got  dropped  on  the  bottom.
2  weeks  ago,  our  eel  ate  a  new  cardinal  right  after  we  put  it  in  the  tank,  the  poor  little  thing  didn't  even  got  a  chance  to  explore  his  new  home.  Eels  are  really  good  hunters!  Smile

Beautiful  tank.  Has  the  eel  has  been  in  this  tank  for  5  years?  and  does  this  tank  run  only  on  the  ATS?  I  was  browsing  through  santamonica's  ATS  site  and  the  RC  ATS  threads,  It  seems  like  a  good  alternative  to  a  skimmer.
