First  time  I  am  keeping  this  extremely  interesting  species.  Eating  Tubifex  and  FBS  at  the  moment.

Link

I  think  this  is  foraging  behaviour  and  not  burrowing.  I  startled  them  once  by  mistake  and  they  were  gone  in  a  second.

Ha  ha.  True.  Well  I  wanted  to  maintain  a  dark  tank  for  the  loaches  and  hence  kept  this  at  the  lower  level  of  the  stand.  Cleaning  glass  =  Spinal  Cord  Trauma.

The  cleaning  happens  once  a  week  only.  This  brown  algae,  what  is  it????  Fuzz  algae???  Grows  back  pretty  fast.  I  heard  a  good  flow  can  keep  this  away  but  not  happening  here.  The  only  light  is  some  ambient  sun  light  that  trickles  in  at  the  back  of  the  tank.
