Hi Friends,
Atlast after my serious search in getting Red Tiger Oscar Baby's i bought 2 oscar baby's from chennai lfs. After that, along with 2 red albino oscar i introduced these baby's in the tank.
Iam shocked to see my 2 red albino keep on fighting with new tank mates. Now i separated them. My doubt is after those fights one of my red tiger oscar baby tails, fins are little bit damaged. Is it possible those tails and fins grow again properly along with fish when growing.
Experts pls reply me and clarify the same.
regards,
jash

Hey jash! Nice oscars buddy.
Nice marking on the first oscar, When u got the 2nd batch of oscars, did you just toss em in the tank?
and btw what is the size of your tank?
so u wanna sell your Albino ones cuz they are fighting?
The damage which your oscars have are no biggy, they will heal very fast, oscars are very fast growers, will recover in no time! |

Fin damage due to nipping is not a problem.. They will grow back, but just make sure u add a little bit of rock Salt so that the wound doesnot get affected(but nor mandotory as the fish looks nice and healthy)..
And the first picture is not an Oscar, it seems like a Jaguar/Salvini Cichlid.. But unsure of what exactly it is.. Definitely not an Oscar.. |
