Rahul- Thanks, sure you can hijack it once they pair up and breed.
Deepak- Yeah, pulchra is a beautiful not so shy Channa, these were with me in the UK.
Seetharam- Thanks buddy, the really valuable ones are posted on Facebook, have a look when you find time.
Scorpio- Thanks, I've only one specimen of Red Rim Rainbow and is in a 30''x15''x15'' tank with sand substrate, wood, some marble chips & earthen pots thrown in to keep it cool, plants will be up this week.
Marc- Thanks buddy, I too hope the same as at least the pulchra looks a pair at the moment, ornatipinnis is a trio so once they grow out a bit more. Task 1 is to make sure that these survive in Bangalore as all these Burmese ones are sub-tropical and live in habitats fed by hill streams. Touchwood, namma Bengaluru weather hasn't been too bad for them till now.  |

Hi Guys
An update as the tanks and fish are settling in.
Rack 1 with four tanks consisting of Channa orientalis, Channa sp. 'Red Eye Albino' striatus, Channa sp. Laos Fire Back and Channa pulchra pair.
Channa sp. 'Red Eye Albino' striatus (Malaysian caught)
Channa sp. Laos Fire Back (My current favourite with their personality and character)
Channa pulchra male's stunning colours without flash (Burmese Tiger Snakehead)
