Hi  very  Nice  discus  and  tank  you  have.
I  like  the  jevenniles  in  the  BB  tank.  Also  your  planted  set  up  and  the  Blue  diamond  in  the  planted  tank.

After  so  many  thumbs  ups, here's  a  thumbs  down  for  you  Rahul!  Sad
I  simply  loved  your  planted  tank, felt  O.K.  about  the  juveniles  in  the  barebottom  tank  but  really  felt  sorry  about  the  inhabitants  of  the  planted  tank.None  of  them  are  in  a  shape  which  we  might  term  as  happy.I,just  like  Ratheesh  loved  the  standing  egg  shape  of  the  BD  but  the  darkened  colours  show  the  stress  level.Darkened  and  peppered  fishes  simply  destroy  the  beauty  of  your  beautiful  tank.
Yes,I  have  my  reservations  about  planted  discus  tanks  and  have  always  maintained  my  tough  stand  against  them  in  many  posts  of  mine. To  highlight  my  reason  I  would  request  everyone  to  just  recheck  the  reactions  of  the  members  of  the  barebottom  and  planted  tanks  in  the  video.Notice  the  contrasting  reactions  of  the  BB  inhabitants  when  they  come  to  the  front  of  the  tank  to  beg  for  food  (a  very  desirable  natural  instinct  of  a  discus  juvenile)  and  that  of  their  nervous  planted  tank  counterparts.
This  is  too  early  a  stage  for  a  discus  to  be  introduced  in  a  planted  environment  and  you  are  paving  the  way  for  a  bunch  of  stunted  fishes.I  sincerely  hope  that  my  unfavorable  comments  are  taken  in  the  right  spirit  as  they  will  reap  richer  dividends  for  you  than  customary  appreciations.

a  very  good  example  for  all  discus  fans,  a  clear  difference  between  discus  in  BB  and  planted  tank
@Rahul  your  discus  in  planted  tank  is  under  stress  they  are  not  in  good  health

Iam  all  with  Swarnendu  da.  Introducing  Discus  in  a  planted  tank  when  they  are  juveniles  is  not  all  recommended  as  it  will  stunt  their  growth  and  they  will  be  always  hiding.
