 Nice  tank.  Smile
The  algae  on  the  wood  is  cladophora  as  someone  said  before.  And  IIRC,  that  is  what  the  moss  balls  are  made  of.  Why  do  you  want  to  remove  it?

the  algae  on  your  driftwood  looks  very  good   Very Happy  Ashwin  is  right,  keep  it.  shrimps  eat  it  also,  so  it  is  worth  it  two  times  over.

Your  tank  is  blooming  quite  well.  It  will  look  real  good  in  a  few  months.

You  saw  my  reply  to  your  oil  filmproblem  in  the  other  post?  You  need  to  introduce  more  surface  agitation.

Also  to  increase  the  population  of  shrimp  you  can  invert  the  clay  pot  so  that  it  becomes  a  dark  cave  with  a  tiny  entrance.  The  shrimp  will  start  using  it  as  hiding  nest.  It  will  help  keep  their  stress  levels  low.  And  the  the  young  will  use  it  immensely.

@Sanket  :  ->   Adult  Fishes  Had  Been  Removed  Long  time  ago!!  only  Platy  fry  and  guppy  fries  are  there  and  they're  smaller  than  the  Shrimp  itself  .  they  help  in  controlling  seed  shrimp  and  take  care  of  the  surface  dust.

You  say  you  added  nerites  to  your  tank,  but  I  think  I  saw  an  assassin  snail  in  your  2nd  pic.  I  could  see  two  of  them  (one  near  the  shrimp  and  other  in  the  pot).  I  hope  those  are  not  the  "Zebra  Nerites".

If  I  am  wrong  and  there  are  assassins  as  well  as  nerites,  then,  well  I  dont  know  for  sure  but  assassins  eat  other  snails  so....

@  ashwin  :  thr  are  nerites  aswell  as  assasin  !!  but  nerites  are  fine  because  they  are  larger  than  assasin!!  and  my  assasin  are  really  good  fellas  !!  they  are  scared  of  shrimps  !!  only  thing  they  eat  is  Malayasian  trumpet  snail,  Pond  snail  and  Ramshorn  snail.   guess  what  they  run  away  when  see  nerites  !!  Very Happy   will  capture  a  better  click  of  my  zebra  nerite  and  post  soon!!  Smile)

caution  :  when  mixing  horned  nerites  that  are  too  small!!  .  no  worry   about  zebra  or  olive  nerite  and  other  large  nerite  variety  !!

2  nerites  above  and  Assasin  below
