Hi Guys
It has been going great with the Non-Indian Channa with them settling in well in Bangalore and the latest surprise has been the pairing up and breeding of Channa sp Laos Fireback. Sharing some recent snaps of a few:
Channa ornatipinnis, highly aggressive temperament
C.ornatipinnis getting foxed into a pose
Parachanna obscura (African Snakehead) caught napping at night, sorry for the bad pic forgot to click this unusual Channa completely.
Channa orientalis 'Kottowa Forest A' shows some good turquoise colours when cold
Channa pulchra looking around
The Channa sp Laos Fireback tank, released 2 in this tank a month ago
Channa sp Laos Fireback, showing up in the trade only since 2011 and grow a massive 11'' plus for a limbata/gachua variant
Surprise! The Firebacks have paired up & bred last week and there are fry in their tank  (Bad phonecam pic)
