Yes is the answer to you question, answer to your question was from my cousin's friend who is studying fishery in other city.
All that you have to do is first you peel of the shell of the prawn you bought and cut it into small pieces according to the size of the mouth of your flowerhorn fish.
Besides that i have heard that they inject Fh to increase the hump on FH, might somebody can shed light on that aswell.
I have a small baby FH but im not feeding it anything besides pallets for now.

yes prawns can be fed to fhs bt occasionally.......... bt be careful...
as fhs r hybrids, there may be chance of alergy.......
my brother's first fh (Joe) had alergy fr prawns........ he used to show some symptoms of alergy like ich on his body, my brother had to treat him for 3days then he used to come back to his form!
