 That  is  not  Ammania
I  would  be  prone  to  think  that  its  one  of  the  Rotala  rotundifolia  variants.  A  close  up  picture  showing  the  leaf  pattern  would  help.

There  has  been  a  disaster  in  Matsyaranya.  A  faulty  needle  valve  and  CO2  poisinging.  Lost  my  angels  two  of  them.  Some  rummy  nose.  Some  cardinals.  Some  Lemons.  Dont  have  the  full  number  on  the  count  of  dead  ones.  1  of  the  Rams  is  missing  and  three  that  are  slowly  getting  back  to  normal.  One  of  my   angels  had  a  tough  time,  fought  for  quite  a  bit,  didnot  expect  it  to  die  but  slowly  slipped  away.  Lost  one  of  my  two  plecos,  the  younger  one  which  has  been  with  us  for  more  than  a  year  and  half  now.

Disastrous  year  end.  Only  if  I  had  woken  up  a  bit  earlier.  Woke  up  around  10  and  all  of  them  were  in  very  bad  state.  I  did  not  expect  these  many  fish  to  survive.  I  could  not  see  any  of  the  lemons  or  the  cardinals.

I  did  a  30%  water  change  and  then  another  30%  water  change  after  about  an  hour.  Put  in  a  airstone!!  Thats  all  I  can  do  for  now!!  I  had  taken  the  angel  out  and  put  in  a  bowl  with  fresh  water,  somehow  that  did  not  work..  might  have  been  PH  shock  +  CO2  poisoining..

Sorry  for  the  loss.  But  we  all  learn  from  our  blunders.  However  accidents  do  happen.

The  tank  has  been  rechristened  Matsyaranya.  There  have  been  changes.  October  last  year  onwards  was  hectic  and  I  was  scrambling  to  cope  with  work  load.  Needless  to  say  that  the  tank  was  left  unattended  except  for  weekly  water  changes  and  minimal  maintenance.  To  add  to  my  woes,  first  I  ran  out  of  CO2  and  ¬†because  of  schedules  it  took  time  to  get  refill  done  and  then  I  had  a  needle  valve  that  failed  and  some  casualities  because  of  that.  I  had  to  contend  with  BBA  also  for  a  long  time  as  I  was  not  able  to  devote  time  and  get  a  clean  up  regimen  going.

Well  I  got  a  bit  of  time  this  month  and  BBA  for  most  part  has  been  wiped  out.  It  was  severe.  Had  to  resort  to  H202  but  couldnt  do  too  much  of  that  because  it  had  adverse  effects  on  the  moss  and  also  was  worried  about  the  fishes.  Majority  of  the  treatment  came  from  adjusting  co2  and  Seachem  flourish  carbon  suplement.  Was  dosing  higher  than  usual  dose.  It  works.

The  result  of  all  this,  corymobsa,  Alteranthera  and  Cobomba  were  almost  wiped  out.  Working  on  getting  it  to  grow  back.  Corymbosa  and  cobomba  are  showing  signs  of  improvement  and  fresh  growth.  Alteranthera  is  taking  time  to  grow  back.

Got  some  congo  tetras,  they  are  in  the  holding  tank.
Also  lost  my  Angels  3  of  them  and  the  remaining  one  gave  it  off.

Here  is  a  pic  of  the  tank  as  it  is  now.  I  got  Macranda  after  a  long  wait.  Have  to  wait  a  bit  more  for  it  to  grow  in.
