I did not know what subject to give in, sorry for that.
Yesterday I went to buy this, the shop keeper what type of iron you want and I just went blank.Is their any particular name or formula for that.The person was giving me the iron metal powder was it the one which we need to use for the planted tanks
i was just confused with this and can anyone let me know what name should be used while purchasing and the approximate cost of it.

You cannot dose just the Iron which you get from the lab shop. We need chelated iron. Normal iron which exists with other chemicals (Ferrous Sulphate, Ferrous Chloride etc) would not dissolve in water.
Here we need chelated Iron for that. So please read up more information on Iron for planted tank. I dont think we would get chelated Iron from the chemist shop. |

I am not sure in what form it can be. Commercial based (agricultural grade) come in powder form. Still am not sure if only Fe EDTA comes separately or as in a trace chemical. Will have to wait for experts comments..  |

You can use Ferrous gluconate, it is a much better option than chelated iron supplements.
It does not get destroyed by light
It is active ingredient in Seachem Iron.
I purchased some last month and have been using it since then. |

Actually this is for my hc cuba, marselia, brazilian dwarf amazon sword and hair grass they need this so very much in need of this.
This time don't want to loose my plants taking all precautions that they need |

It should be available in shop which deal in laboratory chemicals.
You just need to dissolve it in water and start using it. |

Will this work ? Has Ferrous gluconate
HAEMGLOW syr: vitamin B2 5 mg/15 mL, vitamin B6 1.5 mg/15 mL, vitamin B1 5 mg/15 mL, niacinamide 45 mg/15 mL, ferrous gluconate 300 mg/15 mL, vitamin B12 15 mcg/15 mL. |

Why do we need Vit B 12 supplements, when the topic here is use of ferrous gluconate ?Have you been using HAEMGLOW by any chance?
