Is that the trick behind the hump??
|
Well the hump factor completely depends on its gene OR the extra terrestrial effect of feng-sui (the more money you have the more hump you get or vice versa hmm) |

@Jash : For hump you can feed grand sumo which is expensive or else you can try XO humpy head..
For color, feed him ever red.. |

Supplement its diet with some chopped fresh prawns then see its growth..

Is that the trick behind the hump??
But i have seen few FH with hardly/any hump....does that mean they are of inferior quality FH?
|
The hump or no hump is personal choice of the hobbyist.Presently it is difficult to comment on the same. Its the genes which work for it only you can help by giving good parameters for the fish to grow healthy.
Some have hump from early stage of their growth & some will take longer to get the hump or no hump.
To keep the fish active add some Pleco's ( a bigger in size) as tank mates. They will keep him occupied. Give good food (as mentioned in the thread by Kastor) I sent & feed when the fish is hungry or on demand feeding....... Good luck & happy fishing..... |
