Thanks for the comments bros!
@vigneshk
Thanks!
That's a regular Endler's Guppy. The red is accented because of the lighting.

Meri jaan, meri jaan ... Fish tank mein ande!
So spotted these white specks in the tank a few days back. Thought it was some sort of invertebrate. However later figured that they are in fact EGGS. That too of the Assassin Snails. A couple of them have a distinct embryo formed.
The assassins in this tank breed like crazy. Started out with 6, and now have over 25. Need to thin their population.
Here are the pics ...

| I can see some utricularia gibba weed in your older pictures remove them as soon as possible otherwise it will grow enough to ruin your scape. Congrats for the eggs are they are of cardinals? Waiting for more pictures. |

Too late man. Those crazy carnivorous weeds have already spread a lot in the tank. Will probably need to manually remove it one day. I really don't see them as much of an eye sore though.
The eggs are of the assassin snails |

Nice to hear that. When the conditions are right for them they really multiply a lot. In my other tank they are not multiplying at all. Even in the shop where I got them from they are not multiplying. The shopkeeper actually asked me to give some of them to him and take anything of their retail value in exchange - Money saved!!!
The assassins in this tank of course have a rich meal which includes algae wafers and the RCS which they hunt. Below is a pic I took today morning of some of them feeding on an algae wafer I dropped (though the wafer cannot be seen).
Initially RCS used to dominate over an algae wafer, but now the assassins capture it first and the RCS, Otocinclus, and the loaches have to wait in line. Of course this has led to increasing the amount of wafer that I feed them. First it used to be just 1/4 of a wafer twice a week. Now it's 1/2-1 wafer twice a week.
Hmmm going by this pic, which alone has 10 in the frame, the tank probably has at least 40 of these mollusks.
