Buy  the  biggest  eheim  pond  canister  available  with  a  UV.  i  suggest  UV  cos  the  fish  you  have  are  messy  eaters  and  if  you  forget  to  clean  water  or  feed  too  much,  chances  are  they  can  get  some  disease.  also  you  should  consider  a  continuous  water  change  system  (10%)  daily.  the  way  you  can  do  it  is.  add  an  overflow  box  with  outlet  going  to  a  drain.  then  place  a  small  pipe  with  slow  flow  on  the  other  side.  i  know  the  water  will  be  wasted  but  the  life  of  fishes  is  more  important.

and  when  your  talking  of  a  180G  tank  the  best  option  IMO  is  to  go  the  sump  way  ..gives  you  great  filteration.....flexible  filter  media  options...and  also  more  total  tank  water  volume..thus  taking  care  of  excess  bioload.....I  see  ya  gone  the  Canister  way....all  the  best  with  ya  fish  keeping

 Regards,
 Marc.

:)  not  really  a  necessity  you  have  to  do  it  that  way..  you  could  have  one  pump  and  move  water  to  the  sump  above  the  tank..  so  it  will  work  on  gravity  and  move  the  water  back  into  the  main  tank...
