Excellent fishes.
I have a doubt why everyone is keeping discus in bare bottom tanks. why cant they be kept in planted tanks.
I understand the fact that excess food for discus need to be cleared off quickly and barebottom will be easy to do that.
I have a feeling that this is beause one have to feed them with food like beefheartmix and all.They(such food) will make the water bad quickly. But isn't there any other food which will help people keep discus in planted tank so that they can have some bottm feeders like corys to clear the excess food.
Moderators please let me know if this needs to be posted as a new thread. |
