 Look  at  your  fishes  Yajur!
 Fresh,pepperless,lively!
That  is  exactly  how  a  discus  should  be.
If  you  can  change  100%  water  daily,  consider  adding  animal  heart  to  their  diet.
One  more  piece  of  advice-remove  those  angels.

This  means  I  can  have  discus  in  planted  tank  Smile  Smile.  Only  criteria  is  that  it  should  be  big  in  size.  Am  I  correct?  Now  at  this  size,  do  I  need  to  feed  them  bhm?  Can  I  feed  them  any  dry  foods?

yeah  once  it  big  u  can  added  them  bro   but  discus  like  to  be  kept  in  specious  tank  even  they  hate  tetras  as  per  my  thoughts

why  we  go  for  bb  is  water  exchange  is  easy  and  easy  to  clean  the  surface  but  i  also  got  info  even  if  u  bumb  your  ammonia  to  2-4  ppm  and  if  u  have  dence  stem  plants  they  will  take  it  in  8hrs.

so  water  quality  of  planted  tank  and  bb  tank  can  be  equal

Very  nice  Discus.  It  looks  like  I  have  to  do  some  more  research  before  I  get  into  the  Discus  World.

 Thanks  everybody  for  useful  advices.

A  normally  undesirable  compromise  for  die  hard  planted  discus  tank  fans  who  would  otherwise  destroy  the  natural  growth  of  the  fish  trying  to  grow  them  in  planted  environments.
An  adult  discus  needs  far  less  protein  than  a  juvenile,  thus  any  high  quality  dry  food  should  suffice.

 Nice  discussion  going  on  guys.........

Regarding  "Discus  in  Planted  tank"  .........  +  1  with  Swarnendu.  He  is  exactly  right.

 Hi  Rohit,

Yes  you  can  keep  Ram,  Clown  loach,  various  corry  in  discus  tank.

 Hi  Deba,

Black  background(or  any  deep  color  background)  for  Discus  tank  is  "BIG  NO".  In  that  case  there  will  be  lots  of  peppering,  they  will  be  stressed  and  for  that  color  will  be  much  less  than  normal  etc.  etc.
