I was away for a week with no one to take care of my fishes. Before I left, I did a water change. Now that I returned after a week, I was very happy to see that there was no casualty. But the bad news is my Silver Dollar fish seem to have developed fungus. I have five of them and almost all of them have got fungus with one of them being very badly affected.
I plan to do a water change first thing tomorrow morning. I want to know what else can I do to cure the fish? Any medicine would be helpful? Also what could have led to this fungal outbreak.
Note that as the dollar fish have grwon quite big, It may not be possible for me to separate them and I may have to treat them in the same tank which they are currently in. Along with the Dollar Fish, I have couple of Angels and few small/medium bettas in this tank which is a 3 footer bb tank.
