@kunal
Sure buddy. Brevis pics are eagerly awaited!
@ bappa
Stop kidding bro! U already did the 'exchange offer'!! For delicious samosas, rasgullas, gulabjamuns, and 'angoori petha', u got every worm species i had but one. And i think i was the gainer in the deal alright.
Ha ha. Now my plan is, if your apistogramma cacatoides breed, i will try to tempt you with some bigger compost worms (eisenia fetida) in exchange for juveniles! Hehe. At least, a guy can dream.... If they can be sold to be fed to discus, why not try them on your Rio Negros....
Now vijendra is off to pune, so please take charge of the three species.
I actually collected the microfex (also called micro tubifex, duro worms, mini tubifex) from nature. I suspect an india roller bird or a kingfisher that used to dive into an outdoor plastic tub i had, got them for me, clinging to its feet.

in case the thread readers are wondering, bappa da hosted an army of hobbyists of the NCR region last month. We all stood there, bending over this tank and that, and admired other wonders also of his LFS-themed home in gurgaon.

Romi,
Vinedra came yesterday and he will leave the live worm cultures with me (mine were with him cause i was travelling). Now, will be my turn to see how soon can I 'unlive' them! On cacuoiteds, I have given my batch to Vijendra yesterday having failing to breed them myself. may be he will succeed. Meanwhile, I have other apistos and the live culture will be used on them. So bro, when are you coming this side?

bappa,
As soon as vijendra completes his impending pune trip, i shall visit He is getting some lemon tetras and mountain minnows, poor ol me is crazy for them God willling, will come around. Lucky vijjy, first he got a female, and now the male cacatoides as well ! I saw the female you gave him earlier, lovely yellow little thing. wonderful cave spawning little blokes. i hope we can find some unrelated stock and strenghten the gene pool somehow. i am sure that was the reason u didnt succeed in getting fry, too much of inbreeding. Spoke to your supplier Nikhil too, if u order any fish from him again, do let me know I plant to order some Galaxy and Medusa guppies.

Bappa da will give you all the three cultures on either Thursday or Friday..... have to see those angles as well. The cacuoiteds you gave me are doing quite well, enjoying like hell (they get to eat shrimplets and endlers fries as have kept them in that tank. Will shift them in a 2.5feeter once it is cycled.......:)
Romi - Have already booked your lemon tetras and mountain minnows......

did u offer the cacatoides a nice little terracotta pot for a cave? it might make them feel extra romantic! I get these small pots here, look really ethnic.
