 Good  Initial  Setup.

However  IMHO  a  Valisneria  background  would  add  to  the  aesthetic  value.

Also  carpet  the  front  with  hair  grass  and  keep  it  trimmed.

Also  if  possible  post  details  of  your  setup.

My  2  cents  are  free.   Chuckle

Crushed  coral  and  shells  will  make  the  water  hard  which  not  all  the  plants  will  like.

Nice  setup.  Would  be  interesting  to  see  how  the  substrate  behaves  on  the  long  run.

Can  I  know  why  you  are  dosing  only  Kno3  and  MgSo4?  As  far  as  I  believe  MgSo4  is  present  in  the  water  and  hardly  anybody  in  India  would  dose  this  in  a  planted  tank  separately.

Potassium  Phosphate  (monobasic)  and  Potassium  Sulphate  is  missing  in  your  dosing!!!

KNO3  does  not  provide  you  the  enough  Potassium  which  is  required  by  the  plants.

 Hi  James,
KH2PO4  and  K2SO4  was  of  stock.  For  sulphate  and  potassium  i  am  dosing  Kno3  and  MgSo4  for  now.  I  am  using  fresh  water.  Water  i  use  is  extremely  soft.  So  MgSo4  will  do  good.

Suggest  me  any  other  ideas  for  dosing.
