i am observing now white flake like deposits on plants, drift wood & on glass walls top edge. it is more now on glass walls.
my fishes guppies & mollies are dull. pink zebra danios & rainbow shrimps are ok.
iam using bore water. now iam observing salty deposits in house hold buckets also.
is my home bore water is changed?
what to do? |

| It is dissolved salts in your water. Use distilled/bottled water or make your well water to go through reverse osmosis process. |

It could be due to Biogenic Decalcification. Please see Biogenic Decalification
What plants do you have in this aquarium ? |

@nanomania: i dont have good camera right now.
@RAJUSUCHDE: i am adding bore water when my water level is going down. for that may be salts levels raised.
@ravi: somuch literature on Biogenic Decalification. will study later.
im having brown crypts, vallisnaria. deposits seen on horizantal flat surface points of leaves only.

Nice Crypts.
I had similar experience in UK on my amazon sowrd plant, but i just trimmed the leaves which was affected and the new one was ok. even i dont know the reason, i was just using tap water.
I guess,, pictures will gibe a better idea.
